Immigration is the international movement of people into a destination country as permanent residents or naturalized citizens, or to take up employment as a migrant worker or temporarily as a foreign worker. Immigration to the United States is the international movement of Non-US nationals in order to reside permanently in the country. Lawful immigration has been a major source of population growth and cultural change throughout much of the U.S. history. Because the United States is a settler-colonial society, all Americans, with the exception of the small percent of Native Americans, can trace their ancestry to immigrants from other nations around the world. Major American corporations spent $345 million lobbying for just three pro-immigration bills between 2006 and 2008.

We envision bringing together a cohesive platform that the Government, Political leaders, Indian Consular offices, and the Expatriate Indo-American residents to converse and resolve the challenges faced by Non-resident expats of Kerala origin and their beloved family members who are citizens in the United States.
