Travel Checklist:
Passport: If you have a valid US or Canadian passport with 6 months validity, no visa is required. If you just possess a green card, you should travel with both your green card and an Indian passport, Still no need for a visa. The passport should be carried if you have a multiple entry visa, and if the valid visa is stamped on the old passport, that should be carried as well.
You will receive the immigration form for Mexico during the flight. It must be completed and submitted to immigration. Keep a pen handy, The form can be filled on the flight.
Immigration will stamp a section of this form for your safekeeping. Return the form back when you depart the country. If you misplace it, you might have to wait two to three hours for a replacement.
Two days before your departure your reservation number and a Moon Palace link will be sent to you through email. Using this link, you may check the status of your reservation.
On the FOMAA website, you may enter your flight information. In doing so, you won't need to make a phone call to use the transportation facility from the airport.
At the airport, a FOMAA banner will be displayed. The resort only 10 minutes away from the airport. On September 1 and 2, transportation will be provided from 7 am to 10 pm. If you leave or arrive early, transportation will be set up for arrival and departure on different days.
Visit the Moon Palace Resort website and upload the passport document. Simply snap a picture with your phone. By doing that, you can avoid wasting at the Hotel by not having to present your passport or other documents.
It will also save time to take a picture of the immigration form at the airport and upload it to the resort's website.
No longer is there a tax on the foreigner in Mexico. To take advantage of this exemption, a passport copy is required. Alternatively, a 20% tax may apply.
